Well, I don't exactly have the cajones, like they did, to take the plunge, lol. Firstly, cctlds are mostly a different beast. Then you have the fact, with .co.uk at least, that you have to reg them for a minimum two years. (However, that's still a drop in the bucket compared to prices for .com in the early days.) Then there's the huge possibility that Berkens, Schwartz, Schilling, et al. could've cared less for LLNs and thought them a waste of time and money, maybe buying only the ones that made sense. The rest being bought buy latecomers just because it was something.
