logical question - I think?

Curious to work out the way sedo chooses to refuse domains,I accept their decision but it seems illogical. I went to park 3 domains starting with the word halifax-, ie halifax-creditcards the entry was refused, but there is a halifax in canada,usa ect. does that mean sedo has worldwide tld domain ban on a city word, there is halifax travel in sanfrancisco ,but halifax-creditcard or halifax-creditcards meets with refusal, is there many business that own a city name in world? ..what if I lived in nova scotia and wanted to start halifax-loan , would sedo refuse it?.

where they .co.uk domains?

sanfrancisco and nova scotia aren't in the UK as far as i'm aware perhaps (strong doubts) sedo filtering system is based on local copyright laws?
