OK, this forum and thread has been selected to give me my weight loss boost.

There's four weeks in June and I am hoping to go from 12st 8 lbs / 12st 10lbs and 80 / 81 kilos to 11st 12lbs and 75.3 kilos - reach at least but maybe not stay. At an average recommended loss of 2lbs a week, that's 8lbs over June - which is doable but I need to average 3lbs.

As I haven't exercised properly since October last year, jogging - and have only been clubbing for several hours over a weekend a few times, this should be possible but not easy, it should be a shock to the system pretty much as it was last May so could work to my advantage.

I'm putting this target on here because I've been enjoying myself too much and live right next door to mcdonalds, so no more fast food this month, no more take away 'healthy' pasta and less less beer and wine. Back to the fruit and veg and diet at www.ilose.co.uk as well which has been hard to keep to.

11 12 / 75.3
11 13 / 75.75
12 / 76.2
12 1 / 76.65

12 2 / 77.1
12 3 / 77.55
12 4 / 78 - 77.9
12 5 / 78.45

12 6 / 78.9
12 7 / 79.35
12 8 / 79.8
12 9 / 80.25

12 10 / 80.7
12 11 / 81.15
12 12 / 81.6
12 13 / 82.05

As of Monday I was 79.7 kilos but that was after clubbing, since then I've had a mcdonalds or two and a few other things so I'll weigh myself in the morning, I find weight fluctuates more the less you weigh, when I was obese it was pretty normal just to move up and down a pound unlike now.

This is all a bit feminine and tarty, I'd agree but I need to do something to get focused and I've chosen this method of madness. So don't wish me luck, just watch me do it and succeed. (smiley) Oh and help me stay happy and buy the rest of my domains. Ha.

Cheers

Hi Lee,

You dont so much want to weigh yourself in the mornings as that is a false economy.

During sleep an average person loses a tiny fraction of weight due to sweating during sleep also the digestion system has had time to work on yesterdays food why people usually have to goto toilet in the morning to clear it.

So you are always lighter in the morning than when you are during the day, best time of day to weigh yourself would be evenings.

If you have electronic scales and accurate ones then you would notice a very very tiny difference but its not a great deal.

From what I see the food is probaly not the issue of your weight gain, you do seem to drink a lot as well so that adds more weight onto you, I used to have a very flat stomach but nowadays since drinking a lot, my belly is like santa claus and have had an increase in weight.

Remember that you need to monitor your input and compare that to your output if your having say 1,000 calores a day and only burning off say 500 then after time you will eventually build it up.

Try and do a height to weight chart and chances are you are reasonably normal in weight.

Mark, this time last year I was 17 stone, I lost 4 stone last year. I found mornings was more than adequate, as long as I weigh myself at the same point in the day, then mornings is generally a good time to do so. I was obese, I'm still fat and that's evidenced by my waist, my thighs and my belly. The so called BMI has me over by 1.6 above average 25, so I'm getting there.

Trust me, the chances are high that I'm still fat.

Cheers

Both getting too technical.
Firstly good on you Lee for having a target & are aim & looking to improve yourself.

Next, weight fdoesn't actually mean a whole deal. It does if you are really heavy & it's a strain on your heart, but its all about how fit you are (healthy) & what proportion is toned etc
For example 2 men could be 5ft 10" & weigh 13 stone each... one could be flabby, the other well toned muscle.
Get my point?
Anyway, good luck mate

Hopefully this will post properly, height to weight ratio

Height Men Women
Feet &
Inches Metres Kg lbs Kg lbs

5' 7½" 1.72 59 - 74 130 - 163 55 - 69 121 - 152
5' 8½" 1.74 60 - 75 132 - 165 56 - 70 123 - 154

Chances are your pretty normal Lee, but a lot of weight problems are pyscholigcal without spelling it properly.

It is a bit confusing, but let's say 74/75 kilos is ideal weight, so that means by end of June I should be sorted. We'll see. I think I need to be about 11 or 11 and a half stone though. Time will tell, when the belly goes and I then replace it with muscle.

I'm with you on this one..

Started back at the gym last week and again this week (3 times) for about 1 hour. Some cardio and some weights. I aready play football once a week and coach twice a week and manage matches twice a week..

Ideally, I would like to drop a further 8-10 kilo. The problem is I don't know where the weight will come from..

I have lost 1 kilo this week and the weekend is to come!!

81.1 kilos - here we go. I think we're going to visit the gym late this arvo and see what's on offer, that's about a 35 minute walk up the river to the other side of Bucharest and Contracini. A walk I'll do there and back either side of the gym but I think I'll be buying a bike soon.

So it begins... again. Though I was about 85 kilos when I moved here two months ago.

Bet you didnt get me a doggy bag either ya tight git lol

Hmm, I could have included:

  1. Half chewed piece of sirlion
  2. rabbit food (Salad, rocket, toms and onions)
  3. 1 chip (dropped on the floor for longer than the 10 second rule)
  4. peper sauce (apparently too spicy)

I'm not sure the doggy would survive on that!

tensecondrule.co.uk and 10secondrule.co.uk both free to reg

The chip was handled by one iffy child prone to removing articles from various orifices, not washing their hands and generally flicking one of his appendages

We could always have a whip around and buy Lee a steak and have it on a piece of wood directly in front of him.

Run forrest run chase that steak lol
