I have made my first € from the new domains I parked with Sedo, well, it's only €0.18, but hey, it's a start  , my Adsense earnings also seem to be getting better recently as well, I've made almost $6 in the last 7 days, again, not a fortune, but over the next 2 years, it will pay for new domains and renewals of current ones, so it's all good.

I also see my new bivvy.org.uk domain is already on page 1 of Google.co.uk, how did that get there so quickly with it only being a parked page and a lot of other sites offering the same sort of products? Or is it because it's showing the old cached text on the Google results page from when I first registered it with 123-reg, and when Google updates and sees it parked, will it drop down a few pages?

I think that domain could be a good little earner in time if I can get it further up page 1, tomorrow, I am going to start making an affiliate website for it, could take some time, though, as I have to do everything manually in html on notepad.

Obviously, the main focus of the site will be, bivvies, but anything related to that will go on there, fishing equipment, camping gear, adventure clothing and equipment, all manner of stuff really, I'm going to sign up with an affiliate netwok called "paidonresults", anyone here use them, any good? Also found a couple of very good fishing sites that take affiliates directly with them, where you can deep link to all the goods that they offer, so the chance is there for me to make a biggish site, this time next year, we'll be millionaires

Ching Ching !!!

Allright Systreg !

I am in the process of leaving parking names and setting up minisites now, just i have to use instant sites for now till i finally start my web devlopment course in the new year.

I've noticed several parked one word generic .org.uks' getting excellent SERP, maybe worth having them

That paid on results, i was looking at that myself today, 2 things i like about them.
1/ based in the UK
2/ large number of merchants

Anyway Good luck wether you do parking or minisites, and enjoy the extra money :D Ching Ching !!!

Congrats! My first commission about five years ago was £0.20, you always remember the first!!!

Pfffft, addiction, hah, I laugh in your face silly person, me, get addicted, errrrr, I think you could be right :)

I just did something that I never thought I would do, I have just resigned from the mod and admin teams on 2 forums where I have been a member for the last 4.5 years, solely so that I can now concentrate on domaining, I do have an addictive personality, and anything I do, I spend my time obsessively researching and doing it, onwards and upwards.

€0.18, that's brilliant! I've had some newly registered domains there for just under a week and have made €0.12 so far:(. Is it better with new domains to just create a small site with some Adsense ads?

@ Preciousgem, I think the general concensus around here is that, content is king.

You would be better off having a site/mini site for your domains, because parked domains sometimes get delisted from search engines, as do mini sites from what I have read, which appears to be due to having the same templates used on a lot of them, so try and use a template that isn't used elsewhere, and make sure the content of the site is unique and not copy and pasted form another site, then stick your Adsense on them, do some SEO, then sit back and wait for some visitors/clicks.
