Middle East TLDs

Please, has anyone any experience in registering Middle-East TLDs such as Israel, United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Kuwait, Jordan, Yemen, Saudi Arabia etc ?

Any advice or recommendations on who to register through would be appreciated.

The problem with the Middle East is that the indigenous population is very low and buyers will be few and far between and the Int companies use their existing domains such as .com or cc tld. I bought a .com.my domain from Sedo and then thankfully they allowed me out of it when I was advised I had to have an office in Malaysia.

I noticed the domain dubaitv.com is registered in America and is parked. I found this strange, can you imagine any other major city in the west having this type of domain registered by someone in the east.

I guess when it comes to Middle Eastern names get something with the word property in it as billions $£ of spare cash is getting spent on property in the lands of the Arabian sun.
The internet will always be clamped in countries that have shall I say less than democratic principles, whatever you do dont buy biblestoresaudi.com it might get you a fortune as well as a fatwah...
