You need more text on each page, to really target some long-tail phrases, ideally an article should be at a minimum 250 words but ideally 500 - 1000.

Also the content on each page should be unique not just amended to target a particular phrase.

Erm, not really but i know a man who might, PM me. He charges around $10 per 500 word article but the quality is good...

I'd just have to agree with Ash, a good decent length article with long tail searches can bring in so much traffic, mini sites take a topic or main keyword and look to rank for "lots" of the long tail terms rather than the main big one.
