I have just checked my adsense account and seem to have lost about £100! According to the 'since last payment' earnings, I have earned £10.07, but I put my payments on hold so there should be more. When I look at the payment report there is no data before June. Has anyone else had a similar problem?

There is also a note in the payment history of 'Balance Transfer', which I don't understand, and the total figures in the history still do not add up to what was expected.

Just to check - does anyone know if Google are paying out all USD funds, even if payments are on hold, due to the new GBP currency? This may explain it as amount missing is about the same as was in USD before I changed the currency, but I haven't heard about it if it is.

@ Alex, quite a few members were seeing differences in the amounts when changing from US to GBP, see topic here: http://www.acorndomains.co.uk/contextual-advertising/53692-adsense-gbp.html

Yeah, I had the same problem where the balance was reduced, but it was then fixed. This is a new problem as a few days ago my earnings 'since last payment' was much higher, but now it only includes funds from June and July.

The only thing I can think of is that my earnings before the currency change have vanished, the thing is I don't know where they are, although I am not completely sure this is actually what has happened.

Read your payments sections, its all details there as to where the $ funds have gone.

I have checked the payment history and it explains where the USD$ funds have gone (sorry I hadn't seen the link), but when they are added to the GBP£ funds I still have less than my total a few days ago. I think i'm down about £3 give or take, so it is not a huge amount granted.

Just checked and mine appears to be having the same problem.

When I changed from USD to GBP, mine was about $60, changed it to GBP and it was £20, then went up to £34.

About a week ago I checked my earning since last payment and it was about £46, just looking now and it's down again to £16.93, I knew I should have left it as USD , it says this when I click the next link about my earnings:

Any remaining US Dollar balance will be automatically transferred to your British Pound Sterling balance between the 12th and 15th day of the month. In the future, you'll be paid according to your British Pound Sterling balance. You may refer back to your US Dollar payment history at any time by clicking on "Show prior US Dollar earnings/payments" on the Payment History page.

The UDS funds are not actually accounted for in the earnings 'since last payment' part, but are accounted for in the payment history as the 'balance transfer', although as mentioned I am still down. I have gone through the Google forums and there are several other cases, but only with GBP.

The way i read it, this is what has happened:

-Options to permanently have your account in Sterling were given.
-Those who took this option soon noticed that the converted rate was lower than it should be.
-Some days later, it seemed to correct the Sterling shortfall, all sorted.
- Now, it's dropped like a stone, leaving just a small amount of Sterling remaining in the account. The original USD portion has been transferred, some are wondering where & when.

As far as I can tell, because you've switched to Sterling for good, a sort of slow Internal Transfer/Journal Entry is happening regarding your USD earnings, and they'll be popped back into your (now) Sterling Account sometime between the 12th & 15th of the month. So expect to see it re-appear in the account very soon.
