Nice price. Is a great brandable domain but I can't see much in the way of 'generic' uses for it though.

I've always believed that for an established company a brand like this is probably worth the 14k for the initial exposure it receives.
Dreams.co.uk was a typical example for 25k it got massive exposure.

It's a great time for the company that sells widgets to buy widgets .co.uk for an amount that will at least raise eyebrows and so gain interest. The companies that need domains are still not aware of the exposure that a sold domain name can achieve, and they don't know what to do with a good brand or generic industry/product specific if they get it.

So although the focus has been blured over recent times the fundamentals remain.
