Is there a set level of monthly average searches on google keyword tools which you set as a level as to whether to reg a domain or not?

for example would you only reg a domain if it showed > 9000 exact searches average?

What is your benchmark/rule?

I dont pay any attention to any figures on Google or indeed any other site.

If I like a domain, I reg it. If I dont, I wont. I think people perhaps get to caught up in the 'Google shows this and Google shows that" and consequently reg a load of tat.

had a chat with my google account manager about the accuracy of the keyword tool and apparently its accurate  - but I can't see why they would want to make it wildly inaccurate?

if you divide the number of exact searches by half as a saftey measure it can still give you an idea and feel of a potential market..

I'll reg what I like regardless of views but if I see a free to reg with lots of type ins I'll reg to park. You'd be a fool not to really. My question was though what figure do you have in your mind that you would reg it?
