i payed £1850 in 2004 for this domain name on sedo must be worth more now?????

mmm I reckon about £1851

Honestly it sounds like a good name, limited monetising opportunities IMO though.
I reckon it's worth about £8000-£12000 to an end user.

are you serious £8k-£12k.......,what would you do with it ? ,sorry if it was christians.co.uk i wouldn't pay a tenner for it so a smaller religion i wouldn't waste my money,how would you make money from it ???

Well I wouldn't pay those figures for either Muslims or Christians either, though I would pay more than a tenner, as I suspect you would if someone on the forum was selling them for £11 each.

As for the Muslim religion being smaller than the Christian religion, though you are right in saying Islam is a smaller religion it still has 1.5 billion followers so there probably is 'some' potential for monetising the name, the exact figure is hard to tell, maybe not what I quoted but I am probably closer than your estimate of £10.

Thanks for the info guys, the 2001 census recorded 1,591,000 Muslims in the UK, around 2.7% of the population so i think theirs a lot monetising opportunities, just needs someone to put 110% into the project like a members only site with a £4 a month fee
