Microsoft confirmed that the company does not own Zune.com. Microsoft did register Zune.net, but not until June 26, 2006, according to the Whois database record.



“Someone else owns Zune.com and that’s the deal,” a Microsoft representative said. “It’s Zune.net and it’s not launched yet.”
