What's your thoughts on .net domains for resale in UK?

I've seen a domain that I thought would be quite popular. Target base of domain is definately UK based. The .com, .co.uk, .org.uk, .biz even the .eu are taken but the .net is free.

Would you take or not bother?

.net domains work very well indeed and get a good Google exact match bonus. If you use geo targetting in webmaster tools and a few other tricks its easy to rank them in the U.K and i think they are a great buy right now.

Cheers for that - took the plunge and grabbed it.

Are companies in the UK looking to buy at the moment on a .net or are resellers keeping for now / building sites to establish positions?

Im not sure to be honest but i think if your goal is SEO and getting an exact match domain to rank then look at the .net if the co.uk and org.uk are gone, even the .org work well and are more trusted than they were a few years ago.

As far as pure speculation on price and reslae value i am not sure but def worth developing.
