I had a few beers last night and am wondering how I caught fingerlickingood.co.uk -- not as if I even saw 'the colonel' last night for a big greasy bucket. Now where did THAT come from? Somebody must have suggested it. I don't have drop lists!

Yep I did have that on the above list, but then took it out as thought it might be better with the double G.

Thanks for clearing that one up! Not that it's a spectacular domain, but I prefer it without the double 'g' -- American style. I suppose I have to say that after catchin' it that way.

Thanks for all the PMs everyone. I am actually too busy with another project to do dropcatching myself at the moment, so I am happy to sell this software (NOT source code) and consult with you about dropcatching techniques; servers, proper droplists, etc. etc.

Just so you don't have to worry about sending me a PM about the cost of the software: It's £1,000 to include installation, training/support and server sourcing. Requires Windows. Does NOT work on Linux (at the moment).

It will work off your laptop from home too ;-) To be commercially effective, it requires installation on a server with low latency to Nom's SMTP server(s).

To answer any questions about "...and how good is it?" -- well, it's reasonably competitive. It won't compete with BACKORDER or OSTASHKO, so don't look for catching business.co.uk or 3-letter domains. Mind you, luck does sometimes play a part in that. But not often.

As I said in a previous post, look for my TAG on deleting.co.uk: HUBBARD-MEDIA. Anything caught by me post-Dec 14th 2006 was with my software. I haven't tried for anything for a good 10 days or so.

I might be interested if I can see it's quality.

Also need a server next door to nominets if anyone knows of one

Do nominet have a wifi hotspot? I could sit in my car outside and catch from there. I reckon thats's what the big players do!
