With the Nom offices shut for the last few days does anyone think that this could be the start of a new regime with drops only occurring every other day from now on? Looking forward to seeing if anything drops tomorrow.

Probably more of a coincidence.

Likely the cron job that runs the release process died soon after starting and then the next day the collation process is the days drops plus remaining drops from previous day(s).
