Hi

Several months ago I registered several fairly generic domains. I then also registered what is potentially a TM .co.uk domain.

I have recently received a Confirmation of Registration for the TM domain where I need to peel back the sticker and type in the code in the Nominet website. I didn't receive a similar Confirmation of Registration for any of the other domains.

Please could someone tell me why I have only received a Confirmation of Registration for one particular domain and not the others? They are all .co.uk's.

Many thanks!

You will eventually receive this for all the domains purchased.

Some are quicker than others depending, I guess, on the registrar used.

Hmm, most of us ,well me anyway, throw those bits of paper in the corner and forget about them so I wouldnt worry too much. The sooner Nominet send all stuff out by email the better.

Thanks guys. So I take it if I don't respond they won't suspend it or anything?

Those forms are horrible.
They are on thick paper and have that plastic window. Even with a heavy duty shreader can only do five at a time.

Hi m8 :)

they seem to be sent out a random,
i got one the other day for a domain we released months/years ago.

didnt like the bloke who's domain it was, so i was quite tempted to
login and change some details for him =)

:???: that is fairly alarming.... Are you not tempted to see if this is a security flaw and log in?

So is the general consensus that the registration forms can be thrown away, or is there a vital reason for keeping them. I've got a huge box full of them that I would like to get rid of!!

Thanks
Stephen.

I have to shred one at a time otherwise my shreder jams up and takes 20 minutes to free. Takes me over an hour each month to shred the months forms and fills up two green wheelie bins!!

If the missies did'nt insist I be green Id poor lighter fuel on the suckers and have a bonfire instead.

I received three today - all in separate envelopes! Why not put it all in one and save on the postage?
