Nominet transfer fees? What`s that?? How much is it?

Hello...I never had a .co.uk but I`m going to reg soon some.

In the event that I`ll see any, I read some old post naming:

"Nominet transfer fees"

Could anyone tell me what is that , why there is such a fee and how much it is?
