To an end user by finding and contacting them, or better still to an end user by letting them find and contact you.

Well Done Scott and exctly what we all want.

However if you have say 1000 names and youve had enough and want to auction them off, wheres the best place.

I've got a load on Sedo but in all honesty all I've found is the bids that come in (in the main) are derisory, probably made by domainers trying it on - Thing about this is when it happens I just send them a huge counter offer and let them know what I think. Going in with bids like this doesnt do anyone any good - anyone else had this??

btw: what do you think to this www.bulgariahome.com ?

I’ve sold a number of names and have found if it’s a name that a company may not want you to list higher e.g. you have toilets.com and a toilet manufacture site list lower they will often pay higher price so a web site can help

Also if there is a trade show associated with the name you have you can often reap good returns a company, individual you phone may not be that bothered but if you offer them it at a show they may not be so flippant if they see you walking across to there competition... Some will buy just to stop others having it I have offered names to companies they have shown no interest then there rep has bought the name bit like who can pee against the wall the highest parking spaces car’s they drive its all about the show

With auctions as you make little or no effort in trying to sell other than sticking (if it’s not someone else speculating) the returns don’t seem to be that good?

Its seems it’s defiantly the case of more effort you put in more return

That's a really good idea...
