Does someone have a list of the most popular international online payment processors.

1)Paypal
2)Google Checkout
3) Amazon Checkout

It depends what level of checkout you're talking about, there's loads...

Worldpay are probably the biggest, but you can also use BT Buynet, Cybersource, etc, etc, etc... Sitting behind a lot of these is Streamline if you're a major revenue turner.

Google/PayPal/Amazon/AlertPay/Sage/NoChex are more or less 3rd party processors. WorldPay is a front for Royal Bank Scotland, if you have a merchant account you goto RBS, if not WorldPay act as a middle party.

If you google like "Magento Payment" you will see a list of available modules which will give you a list of companies.

It depends what your requirement is really. Small business wise, I'd say is WorldPay / NoChex or Sage, for home business its probably Paypal or WorldPay just because public recognition adds confidence and converts into sales.

I have worldpay and it's pretty good, just signed up for Google pay to add another option to my site. So we'll see how it goes and which one my customers prefer shortly.
