Online Server for MineCraft / Feed The Beast

Looking for someone for as "cheap as chips" to host / setup a (Minecraft) Feed the beast server FTB.

My son plays it online in other peoples server rooms, or hosts his own locally and said I'd sort his very own online. Help!

I have a few VPS myself, just don't know or have the time to learn to set a FTB server install up.

I'm after someone who has done it all before and can do it in a blink of an eye for me (because they've done it before) and charge me per month for the space on the server.

I just run a Minecraft server on my local development server and have put a rule in my router and created a "minecraft" subdomain pointed to my router's IP address to allow the kids friends to access it.

Minecraft uses huge amounts of memory, so a cheap VPS may well not cope, I've got 1GB allocated to the Minecraft JVM, add the memory overhead of the VPS to the equation and you're looking at 1.5Gb or more to get a reasonable response.

Actually we have a dedicated IP at my offices with good bandwidth speeds and a few spare PC's which should make it easier setting it up.

Could look at that option if easy than an online option

I'll give that a bash if it could turn into an animal using an online VPS
