parking unused domains on a main business website

Hi All

I am asking for members/comments.

Is there a big risk of parking say 1000 domains on top of a main business website domain for traffic purposes.

Would you recommend it?
What pitfalls would it give the main site?
Will it benefit the main business site?

My main business site is only 2 months old so i dont want to kill it before it has begun but would like to give it a good boost.
