Has anyone used php on weycrest.. I want to use a contact form and interact with a database i'm unsure which software to add

I'm also setting up mail boxes, the problem i'm having is that emails are not arriving into the mailbox.. Anyone any ideas?

Ive used contact forms but not to interact with a database. My forms have just been a simple html job.

That email issue sounds like a user-error. RTFM.

What database are you wanting to add the contact data into? If it's your own, then it might be easier to write your own contact form / database management script.

The php website script i have no issue with, it is the type of software of which there are loads available to install on the weycrest server i'm having issues with

Presumably they have an indication of what each bit of software does? You could ask their support team :)

If all you want to collect is basic contact details from a form, then I'd create my own database with just what I want in it and a seperate query to pull it out in the format I want it in.

Just take a standard php form2mail script from www.hotscripts.com and use that.

I'd have through if the mail is being bounced back to you then the error should give you a starting clue as to what's wrong and after that it's a case of weycrest support fixing it. (thats what you're paying them for!)

I believe the mail bouncing issue has been resolved, or will be when propagation does its thing as it was down to a name server issue
