I think you may find you're skating on thin ice with this one. The BBC is quite protective of their trademark. Read up about DRS's.

i was hoping it was generic enough , but using BBC i imagine is the thin ice bit , what do other people think ? it was regged in 2003

How can you call any domain using bbc______.co.uk generic?

True enough , i kinda ment it was not a specif series of the bbcs so it was generic , in that you could make a affliate site and just list all the bbc shows , or a fan site thats aimmed at all current bbc shows etc.

But is DRS likely to fall on this one ?

I think you would be better off spending your time/money developing something else.

Another domain with those uk exacts would be worth developing, although the cpc is not that high.

But this bbcxxxxxx//co//uk is a potential trademark infringement and I would be aiming to deregister it asap. Just my view.

Yes a product would be worth regging

Another domain with those uk exacts would be worth developing, although the cpc is not that high.

CPC not being high is good if your using adwords.

As for BBC being generic, you could have BBCtools;co;uk and sell tools as BBC could stand for Brian Boris Chuggers for example, however putting BBC tv shows on there would be a blatent use of trademark although tbh as we the public pay for the BBC (suppose to) then we should have a right to it.

Drop it, got to Nominet and cancel it, waste of money I know but you're not the only to have spent money on domains to just let 'em go.
