Police Shut Down and Block Re-Reg of 1200 Websites

In the above news thread it says there 1200+ domains that can't be re-registered, I wonder how many of them are reasonable generic names that one of us may have owned and how many was trade marks ?

It does say they are listed on the consumer direct website but I can't find them.

What do you think about the step of nom stopping the names being reused ? is it a temp block or a term block ?

Will a time come when tm's will be blocked from the off ?

Where would TM blocking end tho ?

Lets say Microsofts Windows tm, "FreeWindows" blocked ? Windows.co.uk even before they got it ?
