I think this has been discussed before but I have recently started thinking about the topic again,

I sold a Polish .co.uk a few days ago, Ruletka (Polish for Roulette)

The price I got was £150, not bad for a hand reg a few months previous.

What are your views on the value of non english keyword domain names? I think he got a good deal to be honest, Ruletka shows over 6000 exact results and doesnt have much comp. Also the fact that the casino affiliate programmes offer deap linking to polish variants of their site.... 2 signups and hes got his money back.

Anyway, I wouldnt of sold if I wasnt happy with the price, ill be damned if im going to develope a site in polish :)

Anyone else hold any polish keyword domains??

Interesting subject , and good to hear you found a buyer for yours.

I've not any polish ones but bought a while back chaussures (shoes) on a dot co.uk. TBH it wasn't until reading this thread that I remembered I had it.

Originially bought as an experiment (note to self - get off arse and do something about it).

Any ideas welcome!

Cheers

been down the polish route a bit - reg'd tanieloty.co.uk (cheap flights) 10/20 uv per day does ok I suppose, also reg'd Karta Kredytowa (credit card), bankowość.co.uk (banking) along with few others -

the thing i did think about is keyboard character compatibility etc but i'm making the assumption that these domains aimed at finding polish people using uk computers in a uk cyber-cafe - then going to Yahoo (which then defaults to yahoo uk as their in uk) they type in tanie loty my site comes up :D

look at this little beauty: kredyt.co.uk
