Don't start anything new if you have unfinished stuff that still has potential. In other words, make sure you do what is necessary to bring existing projects to fruition before getting distracted by new things.

Create a file where you save "re-usable" Tweets, organised by hashtag. Also reference a relevant image to go with the Tweet. You can then re-use these periodically, and it will also allow you to respond quickly to future events (as you'll often be talking about the same hastags).

An extension of this: plagiarise your younger self. After all, they're not going to complain

If you're a prolific blogger/forum poster/twitterer, there may be all sorts of material you've posted in the past that can be used as the starting point for new content, either as-is or with a quick rewrite.
