Private Message Reader

A lot of you seem to struggle with having full PM boxes and being too stingy to upgrade so this may help you:

vbulletin PM reader

Go to your PM box, find the option at the bottom of the page:

Download all Private Messages as:
XML | CSV | Text

Choose XML

• 
  Download and install the reader
  Create a new database
  save it
  import the XML file you just downloaded from AD
  click ignore on any errors
  voila, an offline copy of your PMs

I'm not sure what happens when you download again if it appends or not
