Does Anyone use any project management software or can recommend one?

I've got project but not overly keen.

most of my project lists consists of an a4 pad with to do written at the top and reminders in outlook.
I'm after something to enter projects from major ones to 5 minute tasks. So schedule times not just days, email the people I assign the tasks to and have a nice gui for tracking and updating.

I'd agree with Nick then, something like Basecamp and/or Backpack.

Cheers I'll take a look. Would ideally like something no online though as it is for my job so sensitive information.

You could setup something like dotproject on a local web server if info is sensitive.

I've been using TeamworkPM online project management software and have found it easy to use and great service too. They offer a free package (minimal resources) but allows you to see what it's like before upgrading.

I'm trying something called "Thing" for mac (if you have a mac).

It's pretty basic, desktop app, but I like using it so get organized so far! (15 day free trial)
