Unselfish indeed. Many people forget that she didn't ask to be born into this life, but nonetheless she has had to live it.

In my opinion she's been the worst Monarch (or at least close to one of the worst) in this Country's history. With no better on the horizon, sadly, I think it's time to make her the last.

I respect people's opinions, but I'm yet to find another Monarch that let this countries Court's be superseded by a foreign Court system. The way she allowed thew 800 year old hereditary House of Lords be turned into a House of crooks and the thieves is what she'll be remembered for in my opinion. If she did her job, none of those two things needed to happen. Problems this country will have to try and fix long after she's gone.

Then you have her support for BLM fraudsters, her telling people like me to have a Vaccine or I'm selfish. Add to that the buffoon that is Charlie coming up behind, I think they are in a bit of trouble. The one saving grace that maybe keeping them in power is the shambles of a President(s) in the US. I disagree, she signs every bill into law. If she doesn't sign it, it isn't law, regardless of what the Government wants to do. She signed both of those into law and therefore screwed us all. Her job is to be the last safeguard in the constitutional process, she failed.

This I actually agree with you on. She signed the House of Lords swap for Tony Blair's cronies around 1998 after Dianna had died and the Monarchy wasn't in great shape. She saved herself by selling out the House of Lord's.

The hereditary House of Lords was one of those institutions that couldn't be bought or infiltrated by foreign criminals and corrupt donors. Somehow it worked, it shouldn't have, but for 800 years it worked well for England and later the UK.

If we put to one side how well or badly the Queen has done. I believe those that support the Monarchy be worried for its future if/when Charles steps up. I get the sense that there are a lot of people in the UK keeping their opinions to themselves until after the Queen has moved on.

It was a party to celebrate 70 years of the Queen being on the thrown (and an impressive spectacle), but this person decided that the stage must be about him and his politics. The Monarchy is done, just a matter of time.

I'd probably agree with you that I am in a minority for now. But I think you underestimate just how badly Charles and William will go down if they keep lecturing people on how to live, especially with economic hurricane fast approaching.

Climate change will most likely be the thing that brings down the Monarchy. There is nothing "just" in sticking 30% on the poorest people's heating bills whilst you drive around in a fleet of V8 Land Rover's to get to your private jet or private helicopter before flying off to one of your 18 bedroomed mansions might not go down to well with the families of people freezing to death, and people will freeze to death this year.

You may have guessed, I don't believe in CO2 led climate change either .

The royal family walk around wearing million-pound jewellery while children across the UK can't afford clothes. They have personal chefs cooking them meals cooked from the freshest food every day while people die of malnourishment. They have enough money that they could rebuild every school, hospital etc and provide state of the art facilities for generations to come, but they don't.

Let me put it this way that fits in your analogy. They don't go around telling people not to wear expensive jewelry, not to have personal chefs. But they have now started to do exactly that with climate change, that's the new issue facing them. Privilege won't bring them down, people don't really care. It's the hypocrisy that will bring them down, that does rile people who are suffering.

The World is f*cked because everyone's an expert based on the last article they read, written by a journalist, based on a press release, from a PR firm working for a scientist, funded by a corporation that wants a big chunk of government money.
