Does anyone know if a domain can work with two ipv6 nameservers and no ipv4 nameserver? I ask because nominet don't appear to be returning a route for AAAA dns zones only A zones. Don't know if it's at server level or nominet level.

I don't see any reason for a domain not to work without IPv4 name servers, however, you would be "hiding" yourself from the large proportion of Internet users who don't (or can't because their router / ISP doesn't support) use IPv6.

Hi Alex. Thanks for your answer. I realised this morning that I had configuration mismatches with some of my dns files so it was at server level. Yes you're right about the IPv6 issue but this was to access from another server which is using ip6 connection.
