If things really get to the stage where your domains are at risk of dropping like this, you do have the ability to access your registrant account at Nominet where you can force a tag change (£12) and renew it straight away somewhere else. Ask on here and one of us would do it for you for normal reg fee on our tag, if it's really got to that stage. Completely ridiculous that this has happened to be honest, I'd be absolutely fuming!

123-reg have even updated some of my domains as Renewed (with 2017 dates) that don't show on Nominet.Whois with updated dates - their whole system has become a mess. It's Scary. Fortunately I've kept intouch with some good people at Nominet. that have locked what I have paid for at 123reg

I'm a Domain Investor (Chance your arm)- It's Scary to think what may and would happen to businesses that put their trust in 123-reg. Even Nominet acknowledge there's an unending problem with 123reg -
I have to admit 123reg looked after me like a sibling recently. pretty much an instant response on everything (and put right)
They know what time-dated-screenshots I can post
