No advertising or marketing. Buyers generally find a way to make contact via parking or Whois details.
 
if someone wants a domain they will contact you no matter what. as they have done with me in the past

If buyers pay high prices I can understand them being happy with publicity. Our prices are generally low and since we deal with a lot of buyers I think discretion is wise, apart from listing names sold. There would certainly be some issues where developers acquire domains for their clients.

It is surprising to see names that we sold a couple of years ago being dropped, knowing that they were not £10 registrations but actually cost customers hundreds of pounds.
