well just wanted to ask that does search engine penalise for changing severs ? like currently gamecheats.eu is hosted on german server and website is on top position for term "game cheats" in msn.co.uk what if i switch to usa based server would there be chance that i shall drop from top ranking in msn.co.uk and google would also penalise or drop the results ?
currently having 1.5k to 2.3k page views and 400-600 genuine unique clicks a day without any advertising apart from my sigs and directory submissions, most of traffic is coming from msn.co.uk which i dont want to loose.

Certainly it can affect things, yes. Google uses server location as a factor for weighting - say if you want to target UK visitors, you want to host on a UK server for Google.

I reckon you're doing well on MSN because you have a good domain name, i.e. you have the popular term "gamecheats" within the domain. Even if you did get dropped, I reckon you would get picked up quickly again because your performance is coming from the domain name.
