Just a heads up on a change to transfer conditions which will affect registrant changes... eg on sale of a domain.

The new system will ALSO change the registrar (ie TAG) (and nameservers if requested) to those of the new account-name holder.

This is a redundancy of the old requirement for the retagging of a domain.

I've queried this and it was confirmed. Though the transfer form doesn't state the new TAG that I know of.

It means in reality getting payment or a payment agreement (Purchase Order / escrow) before any transfer forms.

Section 5 of the revised transfer form states that "the registrar will also be changed to reflect the registrar on your existing account."

Section 9 also covers the tag issue.

something else to read I suppose... so long as we all have the same hymn sheet.
