£12K??? I guess I'll never be a domainer, some things I just don't understand.

SpringTurkey.co.uk is FTR
Saves you £12k. It's not rocket science. ;) :D

If I say to someone finish the sentence.

If at first you don't succeed....
They will most likely reply "try try try again"

If on the other hand I say,
If you can't do it........
they will most likely not finish the sentence.

More difficult than rocket science.

Well, I can't wait until a company called ChristmasTurkey comes along. :)

You might need to wait 14 years as the owner of springchicken did.
So book a nice holiday for 2027.

Actually it's a good registration.

I don't need to (complete the sentence) - Google auto-completes my searches for me. :D

Also, I never said coldTurkey WAS free to reg, I said SpringTurkey was. :D

Take it in gest. That was (obviously) how it was/is meant.

Aegen was right in his comment - is springchicken.co.uk such a competitive term that it warrants a fee of £12k? google "spring chicken" and you will find your answer.

The only thing we are disagreeing on is the price tag.
You would prefer to have springturkey even though your company is called springchicken because there is no cost and I would prefer to have springchicken because my companies called spring chicken and am content to pay someone the £16 per week for them looking after it for 14 years until I wanted it.

Not a problem on that one.

Incidently, Google is a great tool but I hope you never have to think for yourself.

Nice insult. How grown up.

It's a shame you see it that way. I meant it as an observation not an insult.
If you ask something that's automated it will tell you what it wants you to know, not necessarily what you want to know.

I like it...

This is exactly my favourite kind of domain actually (ie ones made of from idioms, phrases, sayings, puns etc). I can quite easily understand a company spending £12k to acquire this.

really?

I see two lots of sense in this sale? 1st Seller has used there’s in selling. 2 nd the buyer hasn’t used there’s in purchasing ?

Makes you wonder who if anyones advising them apart from the genric term Is there an an appeal insurance, holiday, something targeting over 50’s type, doent warrant the price to me guess only the buyers knows why ?
