revenue sharing

I have seen that before, but I am concerned about how it would affect the speed of the site having another VBhack running and also I dont like the idea of having adverts appearing mid thread.....thoughts?

I think it works well in other forums, plus you would be encouraging even more discussions by rewarding the members who participate the most. I see it being a really positive marketing strategy! I think an extra 468 adsense banner won't bother anyone really...at least it doesn't seem to in other large forums Anyone else?

I know what you're saying J2, but i think it generally works...the revenue is probably neglible to the average user, but rewards people who are loyal and post regularly - the basis of a great community forum.
