Wanted: Domain Appraisal SashWindows (dot) net

Sash windows have close to 7.000 exact searches each month in UK and (as most windows related keywords) are quite an expensive keyword to advertise through AdWords. I have only recently done some SEO and immediatelly landed somewhere around the 10th place, so I guess it has potential for an end user.

Howmuch do you reckon I could get for the domain? I'm thinking of selling it to finance a project I am more passionate about that I am about windows.

On .net then maybe £300 end user but your possible buyers would be low.

As I am not supposed to be buying names (because I quite like the name), here's my honest thoughts ... I think continue to rank it, shouldn't be too hard to get Google 1-3, then look for a sale at £1.5k+, but you will need to contact end users to do this.

When I was living in an old victorian property, many around were buying upvc sash windows, so there is a demand for both hardwood and upvc sash windows. I agree with previous post - spend some more time on it, and get some links to it. Possibly call it the 'Sash Window Directory' and ask for a link from a business to advertise their company on it. You'll crack the top spot like this.

Considering the domain age, exact searches and Adwords click value, I'll probably just put a 1.500 GBP price tag on it.

To the right person, Im sure you would get that price as the site is ranking well.

Sash windows may well be searched for but the geographic spread makes it hard to monetise. The nationals like Anglian and everest wouldn't buy it in a million years which leaves only the specialists who have a price point and waiting custom not to need it.
