Are people aware that if you list your domain names in dollars on sedo and make a sale they will only charge you $100 dollars?
Commission and not £100 pounds.

Hi Sound.

Yes I think most on this forum are aware of this and it has been discussed previously. Our experience is that domains priced in dollars lead to lower bids i.e. someone will bid $500 instead of £500 so our names are now all priced in £s. We keep hoping sedo will bring in a more realistic min for .co.uk i.e. £50 (not a lot different to $100). Yesterday we had a ridiculous £60 bid on a .com domain and sedo commission would have been just £6 which cannot be profitable for sedo so let's hope for a more level playing field soon.

Yes, sedo haven't quite got the hang of currency exchange yet, somebody in accounts is a bit dim.

What is it with .cc .tv and .biz at the moment, are they going free somewhere? I do a search, a day later and they're gone but the TLDs are still there.
