I'm a bit confused about it after doing some searches
http://www.dnjournal.com/archive/domainsales/2010/20101117.htm
Dnjournal says it sold for $31,600 in 2010
http://gowebnames.com/domainsales/pug.com
Then this website says $31,600 2010 and then $30,000 2014 and then now sedo says $31,600 again this year, very odd.
Agreed, very cheap indeed. Short, easy to spell, memorable .com's that can be used as a global brand often go for much more. When you consider something like Responive.com sold for $150,000, SuperSeats.com for $48,888 or Heika.com $300,000.

Dammit, my dream domain!
Both of my businesses start with the word 'Pug', and have three of the little nutcases running around the house all day!
