Sellers not responding

6.5 days ago I made a mid XXXX offer for a name. To date, I have no response.

I have emailed the owner direct from their live website on the same name asking them to accept or decline my offer so that I can look for alternatives. No response.

Sedo, can you oust these timewasters from your database?

Silence often means that they weren't interested in an offer...

Thing is that they can't reply and say no on sedo's system.

You have 4 options as a seller,

a) Agree
b) Take to auction
c) Come back with counter offer
d) ignore the buyer

You can't reply with "No"and end process at first go. That's one reason why I don't use them anymore.

So not all sellers fault imo, although they could just reply with £10m and see what the buyer says.

I didnt think of it that way. I guess you are right.

However, when I went to offer, it said "bids of under £2000 will not be considered (or words to that affect) - this has been set specifically by the seller. Therefore, if I go in a few £k over this figure the least I expect is, well, some sort of response. If you dont want to sell it, dont bloody list it!
