I have a name that is pointing to Sedo. It is not listed for sale, its just parked collecting clicks.

If a buyer contacts me and wants to Escrow, If they use Sedo, will they just pay the standard 65 Euros and that's it? Or will Sedo be taking 10% commision off me?

Thanks.

Can someone please help me with this?

I have been heavily marketing a name that is parked on Sedo. The name has never been marked as "for sale" there. A company has expressed a wish to purchase and has asked about escrow. Before I recommend Sedo, can somebody tell me who pays what?

The way I read it is the company pays Sedo 65 Euros and nothing else. Is this all the fees that are payable? Or will they ask me to hand over 10% as well? Or will they ask the buyer to pay 65 Euros and 10% purchase price?

I need to reply to the purchaser Monday morning, so any help would be appreciated.

You could list it on sedo then on monday tell the buyer to buy via the sedo listing.

it would then be normal sedo sale :)

Hi Rob, Thanks for the reply.

It is listed on Sedo already but only parked. Not listed as for sale. If I change it to "for sale" I know i'm in for a 10% commision charge. This I do not want.

All the companies I have been marketing to I have given a flat purchase price. I do not want to loose money because they have decided to broker/escrow.

So who pays what with the way it is at present?

Domain Escrow for outside transactions

If you are a domain buyer or seller, you can secure your domain transfers using Sedo's Domain Escrow service even if the transaction was not conducted through Sedo. Domain Escrow fees for an outside domain sale are 3% of the sales price (for minimum commissions please see price list). This amount includes the cost of receiving your funds via international wire transfer as well as processing of the credit card payment. The only additional fees are those charged by your registrar and bank

I think the minimum is £70/€70/$100
