Ive never sold a domain name before...

I was wondering how I go about transferring ownership?

I have one for sale on ebay, on there I have said i will post the info to the new owner however I am not actually sure what I send!? Obviously I dont have to send them my log in details to my host do I? Because then they own all the other domain I own?

Bit confused tbh...

thanks

Log into the Nominet website (https://secure.nominet.org.uk) and select "Registrant Transfer" from the dashboard and then complete the forms. The buyer will then get an email to complete the transfer process. Unless you both complete your parts the domain will remain registered to you.

You may need to do something with your registrar to update their control panel, contact their support team if you need help with this part.

So i logged into my account with nominet, to find only one out of my 7 domains is listed.

Does that mean i dont own them even though i payed my registrar £10 each ?

According to my registrar I cannot sell .com domains!?

With .co.uk domains I have a nominet account and can transfer ownership for £12, but with .com's they just said "they are in your billing account" so theres no way to transfer ownership.

Surely this means even though i have bought the domain I dont actually own it?

Who is the registrar I feel they are giving you misinformation you can transfer ownership of a .com how you go about this varies a bit from registrar to registrar but it is possible
