selling wine online question.

I am building up a large stock of wines, and I am thinking do I have to have an alcohol license to sell online? or is there laws against it?

if so is there laws against it if I am just a wine affiliate selling thier products?

One thing I am aware of is that you must have a good terms and conditions, state that buyers must be over 18, use the credit card validation to check that, or have an 'agreement' box they must explicitly check. Better yet, get them to type in their initials to a box to confirm that age. Just to cover your ass as then they are purchasing via fraud no diff to fake ID etc rather than you advertising and selling to minors etc.

The only other thing is to think carefully about where you are selling to

Beyond that, I think you are crazy trying to get into the online wine selling business unless you are going after a niche part of the market
