Hi Everyone,

I'm new to all of this, but just experimenting and having a bit of fun!

I have seen in various forums/blogs etc, that a way in which one can bypass the 60 day transfer block on godaddy is to 'push' the domain to another godaddy account created by the buyer.

Is this actually a commonly done thing, or is it considered bad etiquette or something? Am I better off waiting the 60 days or is it ok to do this? And why?

Thanks in advance, have some patience for a noob :D

It's always fine to push if the buyer doesn't mind setting up a free account. Otherwise they have to wait 60 days *and* pay for transfer. That's the trouble with gospammy.
