SEO Domains on DomainLore - What cause

I've noticed that DL has lots of SEO domains lately. (A lot of them then go on to be used for gambling spam)

Some sell for tens of thousands, others not so much.

What is it the domains buyers are looking for in this circumstance cause I can't seem to find a correlation between the high/low prices.

Is it total indexed pages alongside DR? Backlinks from certain entities etc?

DA DR and quality backlinks.
Although there are cracks appearing apparently in the 'model' (perhaps due to the UK uncertainty on the legality of non gamstop casino sites). Budgets are getting lower and some players appear to be moving on.
