Well It had to happen. I've been served with a DRS.

The domain I won't mention, but it's a very good prenom I caught recently.

Though it's parked and also because I'm an active DAC user (well anyone who's after a good name has to be!) I've now been accused of profiteering.

I've never intended selling the domain and want to use it in association with another dropped name for a future business plan. It's parked to keep it warm.

Anyone got any advice, or suggestions. The claim they've done is littered with prior cases!!

Without knowing the name, it's impossible to say.

I've fended off a few DRS's before it got all formal, but they were generic word.

It's a hazard of the game you have to be prepared for occasional losses. Every DRS case is different, there is not much general advice which applies in all cases. The circumstances and detail of the claim will determine how you respond, it is wise to submit a carefully considered reply.

There is usually a fair amount of bluff on both sides and most cases are not referred to an expert for a decision.

Why would anyone want to DRS you when you sell your domains so cheap?

Surely the DRS would cost more then your selling.
