Hi,

A person with a Chinese name has registered a ltd company to my 76 year old grandmothers address, which is really concerning.

Thankfully she lives on a street where most people look out for each other.

The sole director of this company is named Hengling Cheng, http://www.bizstats.co.uk/ltd/gorunfly-parts-ltd-11130156/

And I've linked him to some ebay accounts where he appears to use another ltd company name and an item location of Leicestershire, but can't find that business

On this account item location allegedly Leicester, correspondance address China!

Its sort of a double kick in the nuts for me, because these Chinese sellers who use fake VAT numbers and fake Ltd companies are driving me out of business.... and now I have to deal with trying to remedy this sh*tstorm for my nan.

What should I do, or my nan do....? Who do we call or write to?

Thanks.

Ebay also. Let them know he's using a fraudilent biz setup.

How did you even find out ? And whats the point for selling on ebay ? Genuine question.... why would they need to set up a Ltd company ?

Well when you set up a company you get documents sent to the registered office address by companies house, and then another from HMRC reminding you to inform them when you start trading.

There isn't anything to let ebay know about at the moment, I found an account associated with the 'Director' but not yet one using the new ltd company address.

It’s not a huge consolation, but presumably you could set up a Google Alert against your address (or in this case her address) to at least catch the problem immediately in future.

Good luck getting it resolved!
