Hi everyone. I need to make a simple contact form for my business website. Just with Name E-mail and Comments boxs. This should be simple enough but I dont have much knoledge of web design. If someone could help me out it would be great!

Thanks!

Hi, I'm like yourself knowledgewise...but I'm pretty sure you'll need to use the <form></form> tags and have some cgi script on your server to handle the data your customers input.

Sorry I don't know more, you could try googling it! ;)

I think contact forms are a bit overrated - unless you design them properly they can attract spam, plus if there is a slightly greater chance of non-communication if something goes wrong at your webhost and the form stops working - it can take you a while to find out.

I have stopped putting contact forms on my websites and just put up a .gif image containing my e-mail address.

If you really want one, it will depend on your hosting which types you can use. I favour .php myself and you'll find quite a few free examples out there.

Rgds
