Wanted: Domain Appraisal site reveiw please

hi,

bought the domain www.xbands.co.uk 6 days ago. and started the site thursday.

this is something ive wanted to do for long time. im really pleased i went with it

it is running of a bought script which was quite hard to get my head around.

so really only done a bit with it. need to do some more yet.
but the phpbb is fully intergrated with the log on process of the main site.

learned few new things too, nothing really ground breaking but will post post some thing in the on my favorite here

Silver on white is difficult to read.

yeah i know, i going to go a lot darker grey colour.

my pc is running off a 10 year crt, and the colouir output is sh*te. ill do that on laptop tomo.

i also need to change the header, it rubbish i know the type i want but not had much time on graphics yet.

Maybe I'm just being a bit thick (it's a little early in the morning for me )

When I go to the forum, how do I navigate back to the 'main' site without clicking the back button? If I click on the site logo, it takes me to the forum index, rather than the index itself. Similarly, clicking on 'index' takes me to the forum index and not the main site. Perhaps clicking on the site logo should take you back to the main site?

Other than that, I think the site design is good
