I will start by saying I have no idea on price, so you can stop reading from this point 
All though sneaker is much more of an American term, there are a lot of people who identify as "sneaker heads" who collect older rare shoes like Jordans and such, a bit like antique dealers for mens shoes
So apart from the big brands who might want it just to have it, I would guess there might be another market
