Also people who register may have other means of finding them out...
... but they have probably just read your list and grabbed 'em. :???:
(If it was a great domain and I registered it - then I'd donate... but too many nowadays are borderline, that if there was an obligation to donate, then I probably wouldn't register a lot of what I do.... although I haven't registered any in weeks now!... shame on those who didn't say thx or donate :twisted

not hijacking thread but very valid point woopwoop, maybe a new forum with superaccess is in order and a "set" $5 thanks for ALL registered.... seems a shame as jamesuk has posted a few lists and good generics and a lot have been registered (yes there are other ways to tell without the work!) and some peeps do not even say thanks... any thoughts?

I know the feeling James, I rarely list now. I don't demand donations but think it's common courtesy to say thanks, just like it's courtesy to say you've taken one so everyone else doesn't waste their time checking it.

Totally agree. I'm thinking about compiling a large word list (around the 1000 mark) of available generics and "selling" it for a nominal fee. That way both parties are happy and it's fair.

I'm pretty new to domaining, but have been lurking here for a while trying to absorb all the knowledge from you experts. Now feel about ready to dip a toe or two in the water.
Liked the look of naturalshopping.co.uk so thought I'd give it a try. Thanks for pointing me to that Keys - have a few ideas for it.
Hope to join in the forum more usefully in time, but for now it's back to reading posts and learning.
